This is the raw set recording of the mix I did for this week’s Strictly Hip Hop show on WEAA 88.9 FM in Baltimore.  Tune in to listen live via web broadcast or via FM radio like the old folks used to do.

The show airs 12AM to 5AM on Saturday, which is Friday night for me.  I don’t consider it Saturday until the sun comes up.. or when Taco Bell closes.

Here’s another house mix by Sasha that she did about a year ago.  These are some of her favorite songs she used to play a lot.  Lots of soulful lounge-y vocal house.

Sasha Spynn - Spynn's House

Live recording from the broadcast on Strictly Hip Hop.  There’s a mini Jay-Z set in there ’cause we were taking requests.  A lot of people wanted to hear Jay-Z, so I played a few tracks that aren’t the common ones you always hear.

Tune into Strictly Hip Hop on WEAA 88.9 Friday nights into Saturday morning from 12 AM to 5 AM.

Lots of funky old school hip hop cuts and a few other jams.  Some mainstream, some songs you might not hear everyday. Happy Birthday shout-out to Aaron!

This 3 hour mix is cut up into 3 CD-friendly 70 minute MP3s.  Enjoy.

Other Mix This “Other Mix” is comprised of a lot of songs that may or may not fit into the house genre. Lots of good stuff in here like Basement Jaxx, Spiller, N.E.R.D., Ida Corr, Crystal Waters, The Psychedelic Waltons and Junior Senior.

This one is CD friendly, just under 80 minutes. No track listing, but if you need to know the name of a track, just hit the comments section.

Sasha Spynn - The Other Mix

This week I played the upstairs lounge area instead of the downstairs floor.  I got to play a lot of chill and funky house music I really like.  This mix is good to throw on as background music to chill to.  Enjoy.

Track listing after the break.  No drops on this one, so it’s not available for download.

Here’s a good mix of deep, soulful, vocal and some funky house by DJ B-Rock.  Check back for more house mixes from B-Rock.  Word is he has a lot more grooves to post up.

DJ B-Rock - Soulful House Mix Vol. 2

I love this genre.  This mix has some of my favorites.  Most of them are old, but I love the jazzy-funk-disco-R&B-type vibe.  There aren’t too many vocals on this mix, so you can put this on as background music when your friends come over to play Yahtzee.

Tracklisting after the break.  I think there’s only 1 expletive within the first 30 seconds?

Anaconda Malt Liquor This was by far my most favorite mix of the year.  I think it was posted up at Turntable Lab? It’s one of those mixes you keep on your iPod forever. Once it’s over you wish it wasn’t.

Sponsored by Anaconda Malt Liquor.

Uncle Jesse - Fourty O'z & Dominoes

If you’re on the East Coast like I am, you might be stuck in the house buried in somewhere between 20-36″ of snow with more on the way.  I’m over this whole “winter” thing already.  Bring on the sun.  In the meantime, check this set of mixes by The Noteman.  There’s a little somethin’ in here for everyone.  More audio links after the break.
