I credit a LOT of people for the inspiration on this one. Besides the never-ending requests for a mix like this, mad props to my man DJ GaFFle (ATL) for the inspiration (check out his mix here), DJ Boobie for the lessons in this mixing style (growing up listening to his tapes as a kid), Scottie B and the Unruly fam for making these records classics in Baltimore, 45 King, Technics, Double J, DJ B-Rock, Sean Marshall, DJ Class… the list will never end. This dude used to always come to the club and bug me to make a Baltimore club CD. I think he was afraid to actually come TO Baltimore, but he always told me how much he loved the music and how much he liked my mixes at the club. He bugged me for about 2-3 months straight, so I finally broke down and made one. Funny thing is, I made this CD knowing that he sells CDs at some flea market or something. At the time I could really care less, so I hooked him up anyway. Everybody needs to make a dollar somehow I guess?

Anyway, the date on this CD is January 2003. I sold all the copies I had and I just found this in my boy Big Wayne’s CD collection. There are some tracks on here that were new at that time, but there’s definitely a lot of classics on here. Listen to this at the gym or when you have road rage.
